This installation (Newport Aquarium, 2003) features 1,000 resin figures of turtle hatchlings, glowing green in ultraviolet lighting and suspended overhead in a long, swimming school.  One of the figures is a different color, indicating the ratio of surviving hatchlings to those that make it to adulthood (1 out of 1000).
